My first blog...

So, I finally gave in and created this Blogger account for a number of reasons. I must say that I have been brushing up on my photography skills and there are tons of photos worth sharing with family and friends. It really was just a matter of time :) But most importantly, baby Jordan is almost 14 months and cool things are happening. I wish we live a little closer to everyone we love so they, too, can watch him grow day by day. My hope is to be able to share our life stories with the people that matter most to us - our parents, extended family and friends.

We all know that Spring is here and that means beautiful cherry blossoms are blooming!! I've been dying to take some awesome photos of rows and rows of cherry blossoms along the downtown waterfront. Imagine how beautiful that would be, but the weather wouldn't cooperate. I was about to give up when last Friday, we had a play date at Shute Park near the main Hillsboro Library and I was able to put my camera to work. Check out these amazing blossoms...

                  Jordan loved the beautiful scenery,
especially the ducks. He couldn't stop
pointing at things and saying "ah..ah..?"
He wants to know what everything is!!

                  Jordan's playmate, Sara. Isn't she cute !?!

                              Baby Katherine is so adorable!

Here are some more pictures of the kids...

                                                          Aww..... BIG HUG!!!

Ducks!!! It was nearly impossible trying to get a nice
picture of Jordan. He was too excited to see the ducks,
wanted to chase after it & ran straight for the water!

All the Mommas and their babies :)

That's all for now. Thank you for reading :) Keep following my blog for more fun stories and updates on our baby Jordan. I hope my photos and stories will lighten up your day...  :)

  2. You really got some great pics. Those blossoms are amazing! I agree that having a kid really helps you slow down and appreciate the beauty in all the little things in life. :-)
